I realize I may be hurrying the snow season's arrival with the new photo, but, being originally from the east coast, I am conditioned to expect snow right about now.
There is something in this image that helps me to effortlessly slide into December, loving the twindling light of day, the crunch under my feet on morning walks with the dog, the candles lit for quiet reflection early in the dark morning.
It is the time of year when we can expect equal night and equal day and so nature brings a natural time to Balance, to Bless all that the previous year has been about, the positive as well as the hard stuff. It is a time of year to Believe - in the fruitfulness of all experiences, in the eventual return of the light, and in the generosity of our natures.
